Napoli are suspected of transfer fraud under the “Juventus scheme”

The Naples prosecutor’s office suspects that “Napoli” have committed financial fraud in the purchase of a striker Victor Osimhen to Lille in 2020. The fact is that the Neapolitans paid part of the amount for the Nigerian with their four players, who in the end did not play a single game for the Great Danes.

The total amount of the deal was estimated at £70.1m, of which £17.5m was written off just for the transfer of rights to four players.

This scheme resembles the one used by Juventus in its illegal business. As a result, Turintsy was punished with deprivation of points.

The decision on the Naples case is expected in the summer.
