It’s not worth reducing the reasons for the departure of the coach and the president to one factor, but the non-signing of Artem Dzyuba could certainly affect their decision. Talalaev wanted to improve his attacking game and the former Zenit striker would be a good fit to solve this problem.
There were risk factors: the difficult nature of Artem and Talalaev himself, lack of playing practice, age. But what would the “bianconeri” lose if the transfer idea failed? Last place a RPL? At the same time, the signature discharge may be the strongest. The deal did not require the payment of a fee: the player would come as a free agent. It would be possible to get the recent leader of the Russian national team and top scorer of Zenit for a pittance for several seasons.
