“Talalaev got into a dead end. No coach can save Torpedo – Nigmatullin

No coach can save Torpedo, this is the fault of the club, according to the former goalkeeper of Lokomotiv and the Russian national football team Ruslan Nigmatullin.

On Wednesday, the press service of the Moscow club reported that Andrey Talalaev left the post of head coach of the team. The agreement with the 50-year-old specialist was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties.

– It seems to me that no coach can save Torpedo. Talalaev is a very good specialist who knows how to solve problems. But now he is in a rut. The sooner the parties parted, the better it would be for everyone. He tried to do a lot for this team, but apparently everything is very bad. First of all, this is the fault of the football club, and not the head coach, – Nigmatullin said to the “Championship”.

Talalaev headed Torpedo in October 2022. Avtozavodtsy with 10 points are in last place in the WORLD standings of the Russian Premier League (RPL). In the next round of the Russian Championship, the Black-and-Whites will meet Rostov on the road on April 2.
