“In the Russian national team, Kokorin would not have spoiled the mass” – Nikolai Shpilevsky
The well-known agent Nikolai Shpilevsky, in a conversation with RB Sport, noted that everyone in Aris wants the Russian forward Alexander Kokorin to remain in the Cypriot team for the next season.
– I will say objectively: in Aris they would very much like Kokorin to remain in the team, but this is the prerogative of the club president, – says Shpilevsky. — It would be great to keep him, so that he could finish his work this year and be able to make plans for the next year, which, of course, would be associated with him.
– Do you think the relationship between Kokorin and the Russian team is over?
– For my part – no comment, it’s up to Alexander. But I will say that he definitely would not have spoiled the mass in the state in which he is now.
32-year-old Kokorin plays for Aris in the 2022/23 season on loan. As part of the Cypriot club, he played 23 matches in which he scored 11 goals and made five assists. The last time the striker entered the field as part of the Russian national team was in November 2017.
