Spartak midfielder Daniil Khlusevich admitted to Sport24 that he was pleased to see Russian fans at the friendly match of the Russian national football team with Iran in Tehran.
Khlusevich played his debut match as part of the national team, which ended with a score of 1:1.
— Weaned from the atmosphere in the stands, when there are a lot of fans? How was playing with Iran?
– Of course, it’s great when the audience gets sick. It’s always nice when there are a lot of people. Separately, I would note that there were quite a lot of our Russian fans with flags – it’s nice. Didn’t expect this, really.
On Sunday, the Russian national team will play its first home match in a year and a half – in St. Petersburg, the Russians will meet with the Iraqi national team. Watch the live broadcast from 17:00 Moscow time on Match TV and matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
