“Borodyuk talked about Lehmann, who was so laid out that he squeezed his gloves out after training” – Kalmykov
Striker Rodina Amur Kalmykov recalled the period of work with Alexander Borodyuk in Torpedo, as well as the coach’s story about the German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.
– He has many stories. He remembered how he played in Germany. Most often he talked about the goalkeeper Lehmann. When he shoved the Torpedo goalkeepers, he said that Lehmann was so laid out that he wring out his gloves after training. We have heard this story fifty times,” Kalmykov told RB Sport.
Borodyuk headed Torpedo in March 2021 and brought the team to the RPL, and left the club in August 2022. During his football career, Borodyuk played for Schalke, Freiburg and Hannover.
