Former Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo has admitted he is disappointed with the way he has been treated by the club and his former teammates.

The 23-year-old football player moved to Galatasaray in early February.

“I could talk for hours about broken promises. They told me that I was a star, but I was always considered just a profit. For two years I was told that a new contract was ready. Last January, I was ready to sign a contract for a little more than I was earning. Knew the club had problems with financial fair play. But after so many conversations, I was fed up.

My former teammates disappointed me. I don’t name names, but they said that we were like brothers, and then they didn’t even come to say goodbye.

I was kicked out for refusing to go to Bournemouth. The fans took their anger out on me. Some followed me in their cars, others came to my house. I turned off my phone because I received threatening messages, – quotes the words of the player La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Zaniolo this season has played two matches in the Turkish championship, in which he scored one goal.

Live broadcasts of matches of the Italian championship are held on the Match TV channel and the thematic channels of the holding, as well as on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
