Iraqi national team spokesperson Muhammad Imad reacted to rumors that a friendly match against the Russian team could not take place.
All the news and rumors that the match between the national teams of Iraq and Russia could not take place, as well as that our Football Federation was slow in deciding whether or not to play a friendly match in Russia, are not true. Everything was planned in advance and coordinated with RFS extension.
As for future cooperation, I repeat once again: we would like to play another match with the Russian team.
