The famous Russian coach Alexander Tarkhanov believes that the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin should not be criticized, because he evaluates the abilities of all the players of the national team.

– I think that in these matches Karpin’s task was to see who is capable of what, he coped with it. Many guys played, we saw who can play at the national team level. It is clear that if it was an official match, other players would have come out.

Now Karpin is quietly checking everyone, the result is not important yet. Everyone needs to see. Therefore, it is not worth criticizing it. Now everyone has learned to play football, they know how to defend themselves, Tarkhanov told RB Sport.
