Died ex-captain of the Moscow “Locomotive”

Former Lokomotiv Moscow footballer Rudolf Atamalyan has died at the age of 77, according to the press service of the Red-Greens.
The cause of Atamalyan’s death is not specified.
Atamalyan defended the colors of Lokomotiv in the late 60s and early 70s, played over 100 games, was the team captain and was among the 100 best players in the history of the club. He also played for Ararat Yerevan, Nistra Chisinau, Neftyanik Tyumen.
After completing his playing career, Atamalyan switched to coaching, headed the Tobolsk “Irtysh” and “Tyumen”.
