Demenko believes that you should not pay attention to the absence of Russians in the Premier League video
Former Spartak Moscow football player Maxim Demenko does not believe that one should pay too much attention to the decision of the press service of the English Premier League not to include Russian players in the selection with the best goals of foreign players in the tournament.
On March 24, the Premier League presented a video with the best goals from representatives of all countries whose players played in England. Football players from 103 countries got into the video, there are no Russian representatives there.
“Yes, it can be unpleasant, but you shouldn’t pay too much attention to it,” Demenko told Gazeta.Ru.
In the Premier League, among others, Russians Andrei Arshavin (Arsenal), Roman Pavlyuchenko (Tottenham), Yuri Zhirkov (Chelsea), Pavel Pogrebnyak (Fulham, Reading), Alexei Smertin (Chelsea, Portsmouth, Charlton, Fulham), Andrei Kanchelskis (Manchester United, Everton, Manchester City, Southampton).
