“It doesn’t matter what is with this video” – Zhirkov about the lack of Russians in the selection with the best goals in the Premier League
Former Chelsea and Russian national team player Yuri Zhirkov sees no point in commenting on the decision of the English Premier League not to include Russians in the video with the goals of foreign players.
On March 24, the Premier League presented a video with the best goals from representatives of all countries whose players played in England. Football players from 103 countries got into the video, there are no Russian representatives there.
– It doesn’t matter what’s wrong with this video. Yes, Arshavin and Bilyaletdinov scored good goals. But the national team is now not allowed anywhere – the situation is similar with the goals of the Russians. So there is no point in commenting on this,” Zhirkov told the “Championship”.
Zhirkov played for Chelsea from 2009 to 2011. The football player played 49 matches for the London club, scoring 1 goal and giving 11 assists. Together with Chelsea, Zhirkov became the champion, the owner of the Cup and the Super Cup of England.
