— You played for Our Boys in the Media League. How are you?

— I really liked it, the atmosphere is great. Before entering the field, I didn’t know anything about the Medialiga at all. But a great company was selected, and I agreed. Shishkin, Bilyaletdinov, Filimonov, Titov gathered from acquaintances. The rest were employees of the RFU. At first it was unusual. For every controversial episode, people ran out with a camera, disputes, challenges, running out on the field. First thought – where did I go?

We lost that game 0:3. Then we played nine more matches, I rolled in. This is my format, because you can also ask for a reverse replacement when you are tired. It was also great to see old friends. Over time, he began to argue with the judges, to work on camera. In the second league, 10 people are looking at you, and here there was a full Luch stadium. For me, Medialiga is a thrill. We were preparing to start with Our Guys in the spring in the new season, but it didn’t work out.

– Still combined with the “Banner”?

“And that was the hardest part. I could have played in the Medialiga on Friday, and for Znamya on Sunday afternoon. Sergey Ovchinnikov, the coach of Our Guys, immediately said that I would stay for a maximum of an hour today, because there was still a match for Znamya ahead. In Znamya, I told the coaches that I was going to play in the Medialiga for a half, but inside I understood that I would play for an hour.

But I really liked it, not because of the money. They paid normally only for the victory. In terms of the level of football, the Second League is stronger than the Medialiga, but 2DROTS and Amkal are teams of the Second League level, quite strong rivals.

— Not too many professional footballers in the Medialiga?

– Yes, even Amkal and 2DROTS have added, because professional football players are already training and playing there, and not the conditional Azamat Musagaliev and other media stars. I guess I agree with you. The media league should remain itself, and not turn into a second division on the minimum wage.

– Does Kokorin need to move to Medialiga?

– Let him play in Cyprus for now, he is doing well there.
