The press service of the UAE Football Federation denied information about the possible appointment of the Russian Andrey Talalaev as the head coach of the national team.
Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov said that Talalaev could lead the UAE national team.
“We do not know anything about the interest of the UAE national team in coach Andrey Talalaev,” Sport24 quotes a message from the press service of the UAE Football Federation.
On March 22, the press service of the Moscow “Torpedo” reported that Talalaev left the post of head coach of the team. The agreement with the 50-year-old specialist was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties. On March 28, Spaniard Josep Clotet became the new head coach of Torpedo.
