President of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Alexander Alaev spoke about his attitude to the return to work of judges Vitaly Meshkov and Vladislav Bezborodov.
– Is it right that Meshkov and Bezborodov returned to work so quickly? It’s not for me to judge them. Colleagues have work rules according to which they make decisions regarding judges. If they return to work, it means that the judiciary considered the punishment sufficient. I have nothing to add to this.
No one will return points to Spartak. It’s a pity. I hope that such mistakes will not happen again. As for refereeing after the resumption of the season, to be honest, at first there were a lot of mistakes. Now the situation is leveling off. I hope that the number of errors will decrease – especially resonant ones, – Alaev quotes “Championship”.
Spartak is 3rd in the Russian Championship table after 21 rounds with 41 points. The leading Zenit has 51 points.
