Football match in Portugal was interrupted because of a parrot
The football match of the youth championship of Portugal Estoril – Estrela was interrupted due to a parrot, reports Record.
According to the source, a blue-and-yellow macaw landed on the field during the second half. The bird was not afraid of football players and did not even try to fly away, carefully examining those around it. They unsuccessfully tried to catch the parrot twice, covering it with a jacket. After that, the macaw nevertheless decided to fly away, allowing the athletes to continue the match.
The meeting took place on Tuesday and ended with the victory of “Estrela” with a score of 1:0.
