Maxim Demenko, a former football player of a number of Russian clubs, including the capital’s Spartak, believes that the recent results of the Red-Whites in all tournaments indicate the crisis that Guillermo Abascal’s team has fallen into.
“Spartak” takes the third place in the standings of the championship of Russia. On Tuesday, the capital club lost to Ural in the semifinals of the RPL Path of the Russian Cup and went to the Path of Regions.
– Can we say that Spartak is in a crisis?
– There is a crisis. Abascal is trying to get out of it, but so far it has not been possible to replace those players who are not there. Previously, there was more struggle, an impulse on the field, – Euro‑Futbol.Ru quotes Demenko.
– Can Spartak get bogged down even more after this defeat?
– Anything is possible. Defeats put pressure on any team. It seems that the club is playing well, but if earlier Spartak was the favorite, now it looks the same with its rivals.
– The next match in the RPL WORLD is with Dynamo. Is it difficult to predict the outcome?
— Absolutely. Dynamo may surprise. Moreover, the Red-Whites are now missing a couple of attacking players. If they were, then there would be more creativity. Moses came out and sharpened the game. Even Promes would significantly add to the attack. There would be zones.
On Saturday, April 8, Spartak will host Dynamo at home as part of the 22nd round of the WORLD RPL. Watch the live broadcast of the meeting from 19:15 (Moscow time) on the Match TV channel, as well as on matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
