Saudi Arabia wants the striker PSG Lionel Messi he became an ambassador for the country’s bid to host the World Cup.
The player was offered 350 million euros as an annual salary, the contract provided for the collaboration for 2 seasons. The Argentine wanted to invite Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr. At the end of the two years, Messi would become Saudi Arabia’s football ambassador.
However, the country knows that Lionel is considering other options to continue his career – he is unlikely to play in the local league. But in Saudi Arabia they are hoping Messi will represent the country as host of the World Cup. The striker may not push this offer for 2030 as Argentina has also offered to host the tournament.
