Former Moscow Lokomotiv striker Dmitry Bulykin, assessing the possibility of the return of Torino midfielder Alexei Miranchuk to the railroad camp, told Sport Day after Day that the footballer wants to play in Europe, so it’s better for him to find a club to continue his career there.

In the 2022/23 season, the footballer plays for Torino on loan. The rights to the player belong to Atalanta. On Thursday, the Italian sports resource Tuttomercatoweb reported that Turintsy will not acquire the rights to the player after the end of the season, as the Bergamo club requested too much transfer fee – 13 million euros. The representative of the football player Vadim Shpinev, in a commentary for Match TV, has already called the reports of the Italian media rumors.

– First of all, it all depends on the player himself. Secondly, there are a lot of nuances here, depending on how much they want to sell him for, what salary he wants. But I think Miranchuk wants to play in Europe, so I think he better find something there.

“They are talking about a ransom of 13 million. Is that a lot for Miranchuk?

I don’t know if it’s a lot or a little. The amount is quite decent, but I think that again everything depends on the player who wants to play in Europe.

– Should he return to Atalanta, given that he played little there, or should he look for another club in Europe?

– He has a contract – he is obliged to return, and then the question will be decided: whether he should leave for free, having worked out the contract to the end, or go to another club for compensation. There are many nuances that the agent has to decide with the player, but I think that in the current situation he wants to play in Europe.

The 27-year-old has made 23 Serie A and Coppa Italia appearances this season, scoring 4 goals and 5 assists.
