The feat in the plane. The doctor of the Russian club pumped out the woman right in the air

And he didn’t tell anyone about it!
A real hero works in the Krasnoyarsk Yenisei. True, he himself does not consider himself so – he is too modest. But his act can only be called a feat!
He saved a man right in the air.
What happened?
The story in question happened on March 25th. Enisey flew to St. Petersburg for the match between MELBET-First League and SKA-Khabarovsk. During the flight, one of the passengers became ill: her blood pressure rose and her pulse quickened. The flight attendant announced over the speakerphone that a doctor’s help was needed.
The Yenisei doctor Vladimir Fomin responded to this request. The medic immediately assisted the woman and then stayed with her throughout the flight.
Three hours later, the plane landed in St. Petersburg, where Fomin handed over the passenger to the ambulance crew.
“What is it?”
The story remained a mystery for more than a week. The club might not have known about Fomin’s act, if not for the official gratitude.
– Our dock from the Yenisei saved the man on board! And we found out about it only when a letter of thanks from the airline arrived. [Фомин] says: what is it? First time, right? Oksana Pshenitskaya, deputy director of FC Yenisei, wrote on her VKontakte page.
Social media reacted enthusiastically to the news. “It’s good that there are such caring people!” “Krasnoyarsk should know its heroes!” “A medal for him!” The airline is even going to organize a ceremony honoring Fomin, and Yenisei is ready to help organize it.
Not the first time
Vladimir has already appeared in stories about saving people on an airplane. A year ago, in March 2022, when the doctor, along with the Yenisei, was returning to Krasnoyarsk from Kaliningrad, one of the passengers fainted. Fomin brought the woman to her senses, gave a tampon with ammonia and gave her sweet tea to drink, and upon arrival also handed her over to the ambulance. Apparently, the doctor meant that incident under the phrase “the first time, or what?”
Fomin does not like the attention of the press and does not talk about his exploits. Judging by social networks, the doctor graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University in 2014, loves outdoor activities and has a daughter. Modesty, what can I say!
A good start to spring
However, not only Fomin’s act pleases Krasnoyarsk fans today. Enisey’s standings also suggest positive thoughts. The team led by Alexei Ivakhov and ex-Sochi coach Vadim Garanin is in third place and seriously expects to return to the RPL. Krasnoyarsk played in the elite division once, in the 2018/2019 season, but then they took the last place and were relegated.
Enisey has to fight for the exit with very serious rivals. Baltika, Rubin and Alania also claim to be promoted in the class, and Astrakhan Volgar and Tula Arsenal are a little further away. However, the Krasnoyarsk team looks decent: they started the spring segment with two wins and three draws. And the last defeat is dated as much as November last year.
There is no doubt that the club has a positive atmosphere. And such stories as the case with Fomin only add confidence to the players. Now they know for sure: at the right time, the doctor will be there and will not let you down.
