Semak commented on Dzyuba’s refusal to shake hands after the match “Lokomotiv” – “Zenith”

Zenit head coach Sergei Semak said that he calmly reacted to the decision of the forward of the Moscow Lokomotiv Artem Dzyuba not to shake hands with him after the match of the 22nd round of the WORLD RPL.

The meeting took place in Moscow on Sunday and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the Blue-White-Blues.

– How did you react to the fact that Artem did not shake hands with you after the game?

– Never mind. This is his wish. I wouldn’t mind if he scored three and we won 4-3. I would only be glad. And I have a good relationship with everyone. And to me – everyone has their own opinion, their own attitude, – Semak told reporters.

Dzyuba himself, answering the question why he did not shake hands with Semak, said that he “did not see him.”

Dzyuba played for Zenit in 2015-2022. In February, the 34-year-old striker signed a contract with Lokomotiv until the end of the season.

Bulykin named the position that Spartak needs to strengthen

Former Russian national football player Dmitry Bulykin expressed his opinion on how Spartak could strengthen during the winter window.

What kind of player does Spartak need in the winter transfer window? First of all, another goalscoring striker. They are already in a good position and can fight for the championship, but due to the atmosphere in the team there were disagreements.

Now we need a good coach who unites them with a single goal and task. If I were in Spartak, I would find another goalscoring striker in the winter and fight for the championship.

Amorim explains Casemiro’s surprise substitution against Newcastle

Mentor Manchester United Reuben Amorim he said he replaced the midfielder Casemiro during the 1–0 win over Newcastle United because he felt the Brazilian would “struggle” with the intensity of the second half.

Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte formed United’s midfield duo in the absence of Bruno Fernandes, who missed the match with a hamstring injury, but Amorim replaced the Brazilian with Leni Yoro in the 61st minute.

After seeing his number on the substitution board, Casemiro pointed to himself and was disappointed with Amorim’s decision to replace him so early in the match.

Asked to explain Casemiro’s substitution, Amorim replied: “At that moment I didn’t want to shoot [Матеуса] Cunho because he is the only one who allows us to be creative and I put him in position number 10. Jack [Флетчер] it was fresh and could continue, Manu [Угарте] he was cooler than Casemiro. In the end we decided to replace him because they were making a lot of quick passes and I felt that at that point he would have difficulty.”
