Kurban Berdyev left the post of head coach of the Sochi football club, Metaratings.ru reports.
According to the publication, Dmitry Khokhlov will be the acting head coach of the team until the end of the season.
Berdyev headed Sochi at the end of last year, having signed a contract until 2025. Khokhlov joined the team’s coaching staff in January.
In the last four matches of the RPL, the Sochi residents suffered three defeats, on April 9, the Berdyev team lost to the Wings of the Soviets in a home meeting of the 22nd round of the Russian Championship (1: 2). Sochi is in ninth place in the RPL standings with 31 points.
