The press service of Khimki announced the appointment Andrei Talalaev as head coach of the club.
Andrey Talalaev is the new head coach of Khimki. Andrei Viktorovich led the Rossoneri in 2019-2020. Andrey Talalaev’s return to helmsmanship is linked to the club’s long-term development strategy, which focuses on home-grown athletes. The contract with the specialist was signed for five years.
Talalaev commented on the appointment:
An invitation to serious long-term work has been received. Glad to be back, I know everything here.
I was entrusted not only with short-term tasks, but also with creating a structure that includes not only the main team and youth training, but also the work of the entire football cluster in the Moscow region.
I come here not alone, but together with my coaching staff. I won’t talk about high-sounding ambitions. We will make every effort to process the remaining stage of the championship as efficiently as possible.
