Demenko believes that too much importance is attached to the episode with Dzyuba’s refusal to shake hands with Semak
Former Zenit midfielder Maxim Demenko believes that what happened after the team’s match with Lokomotiv Moscow between striker Artem Dzyuba and St. Petersburg head coach Sergei Semak does not deserve such great attention.
Zenit beat Lokomotiv with a score of 2: 1, after the game, the railroad forward did not shake hands with Semak. Dziuba played for Zenit from 2015 to 2022.
“I think these events are given too much importance. They don’t deserve that kind of attention.
When there is an intense struggle in the match, and the players have a strong desire to win, then there are some emotional moments. They are always present and will always be present. Therefore, everything that happened is absolutely normal,” Demenko said to Vprognoze.ru.
