The management of Rubin plans to meet with Rashid Rakhimov to discuss with him the possibility of appointing the head coach of the team, reports Metaratings.ru.
Rakhimov’s last club was Ufa, which he left in April 2021. Since then, the 58-year-old specialist has been without a team.
Rubin is preparing for the match with Shinnik under the leadership of Yuri Utkulbaev, but Kazan is looking for a candidate to replace him.
In the last four rounds, Rubin has drawn four times, scoring one goal. The Kazan team remains in second place in the MELBET‑First League table after 26 rounds.
