“I watched Bayern and golf” – Guardiola has not yet seen the episode when the referee hit the Liverpool player
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has admitted he hasn’t seen the incident with Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson yet.
Last Sunday, during a break in the meeting of the 30th round of the championship of England “Liverpool” – “Arsenal” (2: 2), Robertson approached the linesman Konstantin Hatzidakis and grabbed him. The referee took his hand back and, waving away the football player, hit him with his elbow.
“I heard about it, but I didn’t see it. I watched Bayern and golf. I saw the best moments of the match, but I haven’t seen the footage of this episode yet. It’s strange… If everything is as they told me so… – said Guardiola.
This offense by the referee is classified as “violent conduct” and may result in a three-game suspension for Hatzidakis.
