The appointment of Talalaev is a pure formality. He won’t help Khimki stay, says Gladilin

Former Spartak football player Valery Gladilin does not think that Khimki will be able to escape relegation to the RPL WORLD after the appointment of Andrei Talalaev as head coach.

Talalaev’s return to Khimki became known earlier on Tuesday. The general director of the club, Nikolai Olenev, told Match TV that the contract with the specialist is for 5 years.

– Khimki could offer Talalaev a contract for at least 10 years. If he does not work out in the club, then he will be removed. This is a technical issue.

– Khimki won’t be saved even with Talalaev?

– Very few chances. You want to show the result, but it is not visible. I doubt very much that Khimki will play several victorious matches. The team is in critical condition. The change of coach is a pure formality. He will not help Khimki stay.

– Why then Talalaev goes if the team is doomed?

– He goes there for a long time, since he signs a contract for five years. Andrey Viktorovich will now work there regardless of the result, – Gladilin is quoted by RB Sport.

According to the results of 22 rounds of the WORLD RPL, Khimki have 13 points in their assets and take 15th place in the standings.
