Wagner Love, Carvalho, Jo are stronger than Malcolm, Claudinho and Wendel, says Roland Gusev

Former CSKA midfielder Rolan Gusev told Metaratings.ru that he considers his Brazilian teammates stronger than the current Zenit legionnaires.

Gusev played for CSKA from 2002 to 2007.

– After winning the UEFA Cup, Evgeny Giner set a goal for CSKA to win the Champions League. In your opinion, in what year was the strongest CSKA in history?

– In 2005.

– Gazzaev said not so long ago that his Brazilians in CSKA were stronger than the current ones in Zenit. Do you agree?

— I agree with Valery Georgievich. Wagner Love, Carvalho, Jo are stronger than Malcolm, Claudinho and Wendel.

– How did the Russian-speaking backbone of the team get along with the Brazilian?

— Yes, great, we have always had a friendly and good team. All for each other. Maybe we didn’t all spend time together after games and training, but as for the football field, we were always a single whole, ”Gusev said.

As a player, Gusev won three league titles, four Russian Cups, two Super Cups, and the UEFA Cup with the army team.
