Khimki head coach Andrey Talalaev told why the referee showed him a red card at the end of the match of the 23rd round of the MIR of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with the Samara Krylya Sovetov.
The meeting took place in Samara and ended with the score 0:0. Talalaev was sent off in injury time after throwing a water bottle onto the pitch.
– I jumped up to rejoice at Mirzov’s goal. The ball was spinning like this (into the goal), and there was a goal from my position. He jumped up, threw up a bottle, she hit the line and jumped out into the field. The arbitrator came up and asked, but we are not raising Komlichenko, we are telling the truth in person. Said I quit. The referee gave a red card, I left the field, what to do, Talalaev told Match TV.
He also called the result deserved, noting that the teams failed to prove themselves in the attack.
– We were afraid of the opponent’s quick attacks, but coped with them by saturating the flanks and raising the line of defense. We started meeting in the middle of the field.
Unfortunately, they did not use their moments. In terms of return, work, struggle, there are no complaints about the guys. As for the attack, there were good moments when coming out of defense in the first half, there were good “standards” that we managed to work out. After the break, the guys came out, ready for a certain segment. It was constructive, but not specific.
I am very glad that again I managed not to lose in Samara. It’s complicated. But we usually get results here. “Krylia” play themselves and let the opponent play,” said Talalaev, for whom this match was the first after returning to the post of head coach of the “red-blacks”.
Khimki is 15th in the RPL standings with 14 points.
