Dynamo CEO Pavel Pivovarov and Blue and White board member Dmitry Gafin told RB Sport about the future of midfielder Sebastian Szymanski, loaned by Feyenoord.

Szymanski moved from Dynamo to Feyenoord in July 2022 on loan until the end of the season. The agreement contains a clause on the right to buy the Polish footballer.

— Did Feyenoord notify us about the buyout of Szymanski? While there is no decision on their part, the terms for the auction have not yet come. Do other clubs use it? I will not disclose. Are we aiming to sell Sebastian this summer? This will depend on his decision as well. We communicate with him constantly,” Pivovarov said.

Dmitry Gafin also spoke about the fate of the rented Pole.

– We communicate with the Dutch club, Sebastian is their leading player, they have the right to buy. If they don’t use it, given the way Szymanski plays, there will be a line of foreign clubs behind him. On the European market, he will be one of the most sought-after players,” Gafin said.

The Pole moved to Dynamo in 2019. As part of the team, the football player played 86 matches and scored eight goals, he became the bronze medalist of the Russian championship last season.

The 23-year-old has made 33 appearances for the Dutch club, scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists.

Feyenoord will play the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Europa League against Roma on April 20. Watch live broadcasts of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League matches on the TV channels of the Match holding, as well as on matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
