“Even if Rostov beats Zenit, there will be no intrigue in the fight for first place” – Vedeneev

Former Zenit player Sergey Vedeneev believes that a draw will be a good result for Rostov in the match with St. Petersburg in the 23rd round of the WORLD RPL.

– Rostov is high in the table, but they are fifth or sixth in terms of play and line-up. Today, CSKA, Spartak, Dynamo and Krasnodar play better. They need to make a lot of efforts to stay at the top – they will still have matches with Moscow teams.

Yes, there are some weaknesses, Renan did not fully get used to it. But otherwise, Zenith has no problems at all. Most likely, they will win, maybe even with a big score. There is no doubt that one team is an order of magnitude stronger than the other. For Rostov, a draw would be a very good result.
