Chelsea manager Lampard confirmed that the club’s owner had a chat with the players in the dressing room after the defeat
Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has confirmed that club owner Todd Bowley went into the team’s dressing room after losing 1-2 to Brighton on matchday 31 of the Premier League and had a chat with the players.
— When the owner invests a lot in the team and wants to help it become better, it is his prerogative to express his opinion.
I don’t think it’s bad in terms of the club’s identity and where we want to go, I don’t have a problem with that. If the owner wants to enter the dressing room and wants to talk to the players, I think he has every right to do so. This is a common scenario these days and, again, I have no problem. In fact, I think the owner is zealous and I like it,” said Lampard.
After 31 rounds of the English Championship, the Londoners are in 11th place in the standings with 39 points.
