Mario Fernandez terminates contract with Brazilian Internacional

Brazilian defender Mario Fernandez has terminated his contract with Internacional, according to the team’s press service.
The ex-defender of CSKA, who had previously suspended the contract with the Moscow club, asked for the termination of the agreement for personal reasons.
In May 2022, Fernandez put his career on hold and returned to Brazil.
Fernandez has been playing for CSKA since 2012 and won the Russian Championship three times with the club. As part of the Russian national team, he played 33 matches and scored five goals.
For Internacional, the defender played on loan. The player’s contract with CSKA is calculated until the end of June 2024.
