Chairman of the board of directors of Lokomotiv Yuri Nagornykh told Match TV that the Moscow club plans to buy young Russian football players during the summer transfer window.

– How true is the information that the amount of the budget allocated for summer transfers depends on the quality of the team’s performance in the second part of the season?

– Lokomotiv lives within the approved annual budget. We will be very careful and targeted approach to possible gains. I think that for our fans and football specialists, the positions that we need to strengthen are not a discovery. The amplification will be point.

– Is it possible to say in the current political situation that only Russian players will be among the newcomers?

– I am 99.9% sure that these will be Russian players.

– Lokomotiv is actively signing pupils of the Chertanovo school: Glushenkov, Pinyaev, now there are rumors about Kovalenko. Is it possible to say that the club will continue to adhere to the Chertan vector in terms of staffing?
