Ex-football player of Krylia Sovetov Andrey Karyaka, in a conversation with RB Sport, congratulated the Samara team on their birthday, wished the team success and victories.
Today, May 3, marks the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Krylya Sovetov football club.
“I would like to wish success, stability and victories to the Wings of the Soviets,” said Karyaka. – Let the stadium in Samara always fill up.
— What place do Wings occupy in your life?
— There was a good history with the club. Wings is not a foreign club for me, I spent a wonderful five years. Great city, fans. This period in my football career was very good.
– Is there any moment associated with the “Wings” that you now remember with warmth?
– There are many things to remember. First of all, these are fans, full stands, excellent results. We had a solid, attacking team. After the game, wherever you go in Samara, you often get recognized. Fans have always treated the players with warmth. It’s nice to remember those moments.
Karyaka played for Wings of the Soviets from 2000 to 2005, after which he moved to Benfica.
Samarans occupy 12th place in the WORLD RPL standings with 25 points.
