Allardyce says Guardiola and Klopp are not ahead of him in terms of football
New Leeds manager Sam Allardyce has said he is second to none in the Premier League in terms of his knowledge of football.
“Too many people think I’m old and outdated, which is so far from the truth. I may be 68 and look old, but in terms of football no one is ahead of me. Not Guardiola, not Klopp, not Arteta. They do what they do, I do what I do. In terms of knowledge and depth of knowledge, I am on a par with them. I’m not saying that I’m better than them, but certainly as good as they are, — quotes the words of The Sun coach.
Allardyce is under contract with Leeds until the end of the season. The team is 17th in the Premier League table.
