Zenit became the 9-time champion of Russia in football
Petersburg “Zenith” for the ninth time won the gold medals of the Russian Football Championship.
On Sunday, the Blue-White-Blues became the WORLD RPL champions ahead of schedule in the 2022/23 season, having beaten Spartak at home in the game of the 26th round.
Zenit won the Russian Championship in the seasons 2007, -2010, -2011/12, -2014/15, -2018/19, -2019/20, -2020/21, -2021/22, -2022/23. The club also won the 1984 USSR championship.
