“Concentrating on my work, preparing the team for the Champions League.” Cherchesov responded to rumors about the interest of RPL clubs
The head coach of the Hungarian Ferencváros, Stanislav Cherchesov, said that he does not attach any importance to rumors about interest in him from Russian clubs.
Ferencváros became the champion of Hungary ahead of schedule this season. For the club from Budapest, this is the 34th league title in history, for the 59-year-old Cherchesov, the Hungarian champion trophy was the second in a row. Last season, the capital’s team also won the Hungarian Cup.
– I am the head coach of Ferencváros, I do my job, I recently extended my contract. I concentrate on my work, preparing the team for the Champions League. Rumors about that are rumors, – said Cherchesov “Championship”.
Cherchesov has been heading Ferencváros since December 2021. Prior to that, he was the head coach of the Russian national football team since 2016.
