Zenit walked away from defeat from Krasnodar in the first match in the status of Russian champion

Zenit played a draw at home with Krasnodar in the match of the 27th round of the WORLD RPL.
The meeting, which took place in St. Petersburg, ended with a score of 2:2.
Zenit striker Malcolm opened the scoring in the 15th minute of the meeting and consolidated his lead in the list of top scorers, scoring his 23rd goal of the season.
Midfielders Mikhailo Banyats (51st minute) and Alexei Ionov (58th) scored in the second half for Krasnodar.
In stoppage time for the second half, Zenit was saved from defeat by striker Mateo Cassierra, who came on as a substitute.
Zenit, which played the first match as champions of the 2022/23 season, has 65 points. Krasnodar scored 43 points and kept the sixth line in the standings.
After the end of the match, the Zenit awards ceremony and the championship parade will take place in St. Petersburg.
