Dynamo had to draw conclusions earlier – the new season is already in two months” – Kobelev

Former Dynamo head coach Andrei Kobelev believes that the Moscow club was late with changes in the coaching staff.

On Sunday, Dynamo under the leadership of Slavisha Jokanovic in Moscow lost to Akhmat in the game of the 27th round of the WORLD RPL with a score of 0:3. After this match, a member of the board of directors of the club, Dmitry Gafin, said that another head coach would prepare the team for the next meeting.

– I have been saying for a long time that this coach did not succeed here with Dynamo. It happens. After three games with the Wings, it was already clear that Muscovites needed to look for a new coach and look to the future. The new season is already in two months – conclusions should have been drawn earlier.

I have no explanation for such a strong decline in Dynamo. From the outside it is difficult to point out the cause of failures, because it must be looked for inside. Only people in the club can know the exact answer, – quotes Kobelev “Championship”.

Jokanovic took charge of Dynamo in June 2022, replacing Sandro Schwartz, who left the club. “Dynamo” takes the seventh place in the WORLD RPL standings. In the next round, the Blue-and-Whites will play an away match against Torpedo on May 20.
