Dobrovinsky named the new head coach of Dynamo Moscow

Dynamo lawyer and fan Alexander Dobrovinsky told Match TV that Lokomotiv ex-coach Marko Nikolic will soon lead the White and Blue.

On Sunday, Dynamo under the leadership of Slavisha Jokanovic in Moscow lost to Akhmat in the match of the 27th round of the WORLD RPL with a score of 0:3. After this match, a member of the board of directors of the club, Dmitry Gafin, said that another head coach would prepare the team for the next match.

– The new head coach will be Nikolic. Probably, he will start from the new season, and someone from the youth team will perform duties. If I were Nikolic, I would go to three rounds without risking anything, why not? Dobrovinsky told Match TV.

Nikolic is 43 years old and has not coached since leaving Lokomotiv. The Serb worked at Lokomotiv from 2020 to 2021, winning the Russian Cup with the team in the 2020/21 season. Slavisa Jokanovic is 54 years old, the Serb headed Dynamo in the summer of 2022, replacing the German Sandro Schwarz. Under the leadership of Jokanovic, the Blue and White finished their performance in the FONBET Cup of Russia at the stage of the first stage of the semi-finals of the Path of Regions, losing to Akron Togliatti in a penalty shoot-out.

In the next round, Dynamo will play an away match against Torpedo on May 20.
