The management structure at Dynamo is not built for champion ambitions, Gabulov said

Former Dynamo goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov said that the Blue and White should completely revise the club’s management structure.

On Sunday, Dynamo in Moscow lost to Akhmat in the match of the 27th round of the WORLD RPL with a score of 0:3. After this match, Dmitry Gafin, a member of the club’s board of directors, said that a new head coach would prepare the team for the next match. Because, in my understanding, the management structure at Dynamo is not built for championship ambitions and not for big tasks. I mean the personnel selection, which was responsible for the result this year. The result this season is clearly demonstrated.

And not only the head coach, but also the head of the sports department did not deserve a chance to work next season. All club management. Because to fail in the entire sports component on the 100th anniversary of the club is a failure and a shame. This is a professional mismatch. This should not be. Spartak won the Russian Cup on its 100th anniversary. And Dynamo not only didn’t reach the Cup final, but also couldn’t take medals in the RPL. Although the fans would take it for a successful result. But that didn’t happen either.

Unfortunately, we have been witnessing a lack of sporting results in Dynamo for a long time. And we need to draw certain conclusions not only about the players and coaches, but also about the club’s management. We need to radically revise the management structure of the club. Maybe she is the reason for the lack of results, said Gabulov RT.

Gabulov also appreciated the work of the Blue and White sports director Zeljko Buvac.

– What did Zeljko Buvac do useful as a sports director? If you look at the global scale, then probably nothing. I remember only reaching the final of the Cup of Russia, which was lost. And the third place in the RPL, when we were deprived of places in European competitions. It is difficult to call it positive results. The only thing that was done well was a good selection of players, a good transfer policy was carried out during his time at the club. He invited Sandro Schwartz, who also showed a spectacular game. But, again, the strategic result was not achieved during the Schwartz period. The spring part was a failure, the beginning of the next season was also held neither shaky nor rolls. Therefore, this specialist left an ambiguous impression about himself, the expert said.
