Andrey Mostovoy does not believe that Malcolm and Claudinho will play in the Russian national team

Zenit midfielder Andrey Mostovoy told RG that he considers it unlikely that the Brazilians Malcolm and Claudinho, who received Russian citizenship, can play in the Russian national team.

– Can you imagine that one day Malcolm and Claudinho will play for the Russian national team?

– Claudinho said in an interview that he does not think about it yet. As for Malcolm, even if he stays, it is unlikely that we will see him in the national team in the near future.

26-year-old Malcolm has scored 23 goals in 27 games this season and is leading the RPL scorer race. 26-year-old Claudinho scored 5 goals and 12 assists in 29 matches.

Zenit secured the league title ahead of schedule at the end of the season.
