“Malkom plays real Soviet football” – Ponomarev

Former CSKA football player Vladimir Ponomarev considers Zenit striker Malcolm the best RPL player.
– When Promes is in good shape, I always liked him, but now the best player in the RPL is Malcolm. He is more interesting than Promes. Quincy is a mood player. In one game he will play, and in another he will stand and do nothing.
Malcolm is a hard-working football player, always charged to win and does not protect himself at all. He plays real Soviet football,” Ponomarev told RB Sport.
“Zenith” ahead of schedule became the champion of Russia for four rounds before the finish line. In the dispute between scorers, Malcolm scored 23 goals, while Spartak forward Quincy Promes, who is in second place, scored 18.
