The picture was posted on social networks by a friend of Pep, who is part of the technical staff of the English club. But after the uproar, the man quickly deleted the photo. But, as you know, the Internet remembers everything, and this only aggravated the situation.
Real Madrid fans are leaving hundreds of angry comments accusing Guardiola of disrespecting his team. There has not yet been an explanation from Pep himself, but it is obvious that he did not want publicity and did not think that the provocative gesture would become public.
