Moscow “Dynamo” defeated the capital’s “Torpedo” in the away match of the 28th round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting took place in Luzhniki and ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the Blue and White. Konstantin Tyukavin (2nd minute), Yaroslav Gladyshev (45) and Arsen Zakharyan (53) distinguished themselves among the winners.
For Dynamo, this match was the first after the resignation of head coach Slavisha Jokanovic, who on May 19 agreed with the Moscow club on early termination of the contract. After the departure of the Serb, the team is temporarily led by Pavel Alpatov.
Dynamo scored 45 points and is 6th in the standings, Torpedo is on the last line with 13 points and has already lost the chance to stay in the RPL.
In the 29th round, Torpedo will play at home with Orenburg on May 27, and Dynamo will host Lokomotiv Moscow the next day.

During his coaching career, Karpin led Moscow Spartak, Spanish Mallorca, Armavir Torpedo, Rostov and the capital’s Dinamo. He has been in charge of the Russian national team since 2021. Karpin’s agreement with the national team is valid until July 2028.
As a player, Karpin played for Celta from 1997 to 2002, playing 218 matches for the club, in which he scored 39 goals and provided 16 assists. As part of the team, Karpin won the Intertoto Cup (2000). The Russian then moved to Real Sociedad, with whom he played 194 games from 2002 to 2005, scoring 37 goals and providing 9 assists.
