Former Russian footballer Alexander Mostovoy praised Aris striker Alexander Kokorin, who was recognized as the best player of the 2022/2023 season in the Cypriot Championship.
“His season is respectful. Many say that Cyprus is not a level. But do not forget what happened to him in recent years. Cyprus or not, but to become the best and score so many goals… Well done. We can say that Kokorin was rehabilitated. There is only praise and respect.

This season, the 32-year-old striker has made 28 appearances for Aris in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists.
Kokorin plays for Aris on loan, the sports rights to the player belong to the Italian Fiorentina.
