Moscow “Spartak” defeated CSKA in the match of the 28th round of the WORLD RPL.
The meeting at the Otkritie Bank Arena stadium ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the Red-Whites, in which Quincy Promes scored a brace (43rd and 90th minutes). The army team has the only goal in the asset of Jesus Medina (37).
Thanks to two goals scored, Promes reached the mark of 88 goals in the Russian championships and became Spartak’s top scorer in the history of the tournament, beating Yegor Titov (87 goals).
In the 66th minute, the chief referee of the match, Sergei Karasev, sent off Spartak forward Alexander Sobolev and CSKA defender Willian Roshu, showing them direct red cards. Sobolev, after one of the martial arts in the second half, showed an obscene gesture to Roche, pointing to his groin. After that, Rocha appealed to the side referee, repeating the obscene gesture of the Russian.
Spartak scored 53 points and climbed to third place in the RPL table, CSKA is second with 54 points.
