Former coach of Lokomotiv Yuri Semin called the head coach of Kaliningrad Baltika Sergey Ignashevich a purposeful person who achieved great success starting from small.

Ignashevich has been heading the coaching staff of Baltika Kaliningrad since 2021. The team won the right to play in the WORLD RPL in the 2023/24 season.
