Polish referee Marciniak to referee Manchester City and Inter in Champions League final

The Polish team of referees, led by Szymon Marciniak, has been appointed to the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan, the UEFA press service said.
The final match of the tournament will take place on June 10 in Istanbul at the 70,000-seat Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
Marciniak will be assisted by linesmen Pavel Sokolnitsky and Tomasz Listkevich. Tomasz Kwiatowski will be in charge of the Video Assistance to Referees (VAR) system, assisted by Bartosz Frankowski. Vasile Florin Marinescu (Romania) was appointed fourth referee, Istvan Kovacs (Romania) was appointed fourth referee.
For 42-year-old Marciniak, this will be the first Champions League final in his career. Last December, he worked at the World Cup final in Qatar between the national teams of Argentina and France.
The main referee of the final match of the Europa League, in which the Spanish Sevilla and the Italian Roma will meet in Budapest on May 31, has been appointed Englishman Anthony Taylor. Compatriots Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn will help him on the lines.
Italian “Fiorentina” and London “West Ham” in the decisive match of the Conference League will referee the Spaniard Carlos del Cerro Grande. The game will take place on June 7 in Prague.
Welshman Cheryl Foster will officiate the Women’s Champions League final between Barcelona and Wolfsburg of Germany. The match will take place on June 3 in Eindhoven (Netherlands).
